PROJECT ‘X' returns in 2010
ConnectED 2007 celebrated UNSW's 3-faculty, multi-disciplinary 'design and construct' educational project: Project X. Sited on the ceremonial steps in full view of our plenary hall, the Project X serpent represented the combined work of a hundred students from our fine arts, engineering, and architecture programs. A concept design competition in mixed teams was followed by design development, detailed design, and prefabrication. The serpent was erected on site before and during the Conference.
